Prior to the pandemic, The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer, recorded a live album at the King Eddy in Calgary over three nights. The album was recorded on the iconic Rolling Stones mobile studio, which was the first professional mobile recording studio and has recorded seminal albums for Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, Bob Marley, Iron Maiden, Frank Zappa, Santana and more.

Matthew Rogers and Shawn Hall from H&AM brought along seasoned musicians, Dawn Pemberton, Andrina Turenne and Geoff Hilhorst, to lend their talent to the recording. H&AM are often described as a band you need to see live, now that live feeling has been captured on an album. ‘Live at The King Eddy’ is scheduled for release this November 26th.
